My cousin recently had a baby girl so I made her a cute little hat and gloves set
I used a tutorial for both but kind of used the same principle as the gloves to do the hat so that it has a lining. Here are the links:

When I finished those I decided to make a skirt:
Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the final product before I sent it to my sister. Perhaps later I will ask her to model it. I did a full panel of lace over the back side of the skirt. I loved it so much I decided to disregard all other projects and make yet another skirt today :)
I love this fabric and I thought a high wasted circle skirt was necessary to prepare for spring.
As you can see above, I made a rookie mistake when I forgot to turn the sides of the waistband toward each other but I am in no mood for taking out stitches so I called it a happy accident :)
I think the inside-out panel adds character! What do you think? I really like it better with a short top so that my torso doesn't just completely disappear.
