Palazzo pants

Palazzo pants are all the rage these days...

So I made some!

I found this fabulous cotton print at a local fabric store and I knew it needed to be pants.

I have some pants that I thought I would use for the pattern so I had a plan but when it came time to cut I wanted to make sure it was right so here is the tutorial I found:

I skipped around to see what she was using for the pant legs and I am quite glad I did! I used her pattern for the pant legs in combination with the pants I already had to get the right proportions.

I used a zipper in the back since this is not super stretchy material.
And now I pretty much want to live in them! the fabric was only $7/ yard and I used less than 2 yards!

And that's not all I made..

The weekend before last, I was a hooping robot in the Fremont Solstice Parade so I whipped this up:

The front and back are symetric

I added this chain to be able to get in and out of it

Unfortunately there are only cell phone pictures of the whole costume with body paint.

Welp that's all I got for now, Thanks for reading :)
